Getting Started
The fastest path from installation to useful local thread analysis.
Orbital works alongside supported AI chat platforms. Once enabled, it observes conversations, exposes in-thread metrics, and lets you preserve conversations into the local Thread Library.
Basic Workflow
- Open a supported platform such as ChatGPT, Claude, OpenWebUI, or Gemini.
- Open the Orbital side panel.
- Use Metrics to inspect the current in-thread signals.
- Rebuild or import the thread when you want a local copy.
- Open Threads to discover, filter, tag, and select saved conversations.
- Use View Turns to inspect selected threads as one combined, timestamp-ordered conversation.
- Export thread or turn data when you need a portable record.
Product Surfaces
The side panel acts as the main control surface on supported chat pages. Extension pages such as the Thread Library and Turn View use a wider page layout so dense data stays readable.
Use the top navigation to move between Metrics, Threads, Orbits, Memory, and Settings.
Local-First Assumption
Orbital is designed for data sovereignty. Conversation data stays local unless you explicitly choose to share selected content with a chat platform as memory or prompt context, or with RightMinds help staff for troubleshooting.
Any feature that moves selected data outside your machine is opt-in and controlled from Settings or a specific user action.
