Product Modes
Orbital can support different user modes from the same codebase. For example, a researcher-oriented mode may expose detailed raw metrics, while a consumer-oriented mode may present calmer orbital language and fewer internal numbers.
The current mode is shown when behavior differs.
Persistence
Preferences persist locally so the product remains stable across sessions. Settings that affect privacy, external calls, or data movement are explicit.
